COMBINATION SPANNER (INDUSTRIAL)

A combination spanner, also sometimes called a combination spanner, is a two-in-one wrench that combines the features of an open-ended spanner and a ring spanner into a single tool.

• Open End: One end of the combination spanner has an open U-shaped head that fits over the flats (straight sides) of a nut or bolt head. This allows you to easily apply torque to the fastener, even if there’s limited clearance around it.

• Ring End: The other end of the spanner has a closed loop head that completely encircles the nut or bolt head. This provides a more secure grip and helps to prevent the fastener from rounding off, especially when dealing with high torque applications.

The two heads of a combination spanner are usually angled at 15 degrees from the shaft, which allows for better access to fasteners in tight spaces.
